Welcome
Stealth Activity Reporter allows you to monitor the
use/abuse of PCs: It logs keystrokes, user names, passwords, visited URLS, path
names, access times and windows title of the active application. The information
is stored in an encrypted text file.
In the
stealth mode STAR does not show up in the system tray, task bar or task list!
(Win 95/98/ME) You can also invisibly email your log file via SMTP/POP3 email
accounts.
The logging engine itself is a
powerful small application that runs invisibly in the background, and you will
not notice at all that this application runs on your
PC.
There is a special utility to control the
Logger: Logger Configurator. With the Configurator you can start/stop the
Logger, change the log file, change when it writes, etc.
In order to provide a tool to create
informative and customizable reports based on logged data, STAR includes a
Report Manager. With the Report Manager you can group, filter, sort and format
the logs. E.g. in a few clicks you can easily answer such questions as "How long
did Peter work with email last week", "which web sites did Peter visit and how
long did he stay on each" or "who first ran that
screen-saver".
You can deploy STAR via email!
Simply send an email to the person using the computer you want to monitor. STAR
will be downloaded and installed silently on this computer and the person will
not notice that this program is running!
